CF at school
Once students with cystic fibrosis (CF) reach high school they are usually independent in managing their medication and may also not wish to disclose about having CF. However it is still very useful for their teachers to understand possible requirements such as needing regular toilet breaks, managing absences from school, extra time to do homework and any exam provisions etc. Increased knowlege of CF will mean that your child can be better supported in a high school setting. Below are some resources that are useful in educating teachers about CF.
